Authentic human skeleton hand holding a real rose (Red)
The Decorus Macabre "piece de resistance", truly unique in every way.
The authentic human skeleton hand grasping onto a taxidermy rose, a true example of "forever love". Our taxidermy rose is one of a kind. Preserved when the rose is at its peak using a specialized process, allowing the rose to stay suspended in time without the need for sunlight nor water. These roses can last without wilting between 1-3 years and often longer with the correct care. Keep your piece enclosed in its dome at all times, away from direct sunlight and you will have a piece which retains its beauty for years to come.

Our beech is locally sourced from our family run business in the United Kingdom.
These bones were once part of a human life, we, therefore, ask our customers and clients show the same respect when our pieces arrive at their new destination as we have whilst in our care. We endeavour to give the bones a new lease of life and in doing so each piece created is painstakingly re-articulated in the original Victorian fashion, using as little damage as possible, this means we look for original holes placed from the previous articulators work.
We only ever use ethically sourced human bones and ex-medical sourced bones. Please read more in our news section on human bones in order to learn more and be educated on the history of how many of these souls came to us, and why it is so important to preserve them with dignity and consideration at all times.
Unless specified “antique” most of our bones come under the vintage clarification, this means that all bones under 100 years old must only be displayed for private use, if you choose to display the pieces you purchase from us publicly, you do so at your own risk.
